Job Overview:

Invitro Capital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines remote work with occasional in-person meetings and events. As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategies to expand our customer base. You will play a pivotal role in the success of our portfolio companies by implementing effective sales strategies, providing leadership and guidance to the sales team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Head of Sales, Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Planning. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Sales Team Management. Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement. Monitor sales team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Customer Relationship Management. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and develop strategies to expand our customer base.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting. Track sales metrics, prepare accurate forecasts, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaboration. Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and finance teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Market Research. Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to identify new sales opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales management or a similar role, preferably within the tech or startup industry.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both remotely and attend occasional in-person meetings and events.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software for sales pipeline management.
  • Familiarity with the tech startup ecosystem and venture capital industry.
