As the Head of Revenue Strategy and Operations, you will partner with our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to create a clear, compelling go-to-market strategy and build the operations teams to support that strategy. You will report to the SVP of Strategy and Business Operations (SBO) and partner closely with the CRO, CMO and their leadership teams; teams that create demand for our platform, build our brand, attract and on-board new customers, and retain our existing customers in ways that support our high growth trajectory. The Head of Revenue Strategy and Operations will also partner with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to create a billings forecast that can be used with key stakeholders, and a commission plan that fits within our operating plan.

You will take our vision for 2022 and partner to create a GTM strategy and operational roadmap for how we make the vision a reality. You will own the operational engine, helping us anticipate needs, use data for decision making, and streamline processes and create efficiencies. Not only will your work create incredible business performance, it will also create cohesion and continuity in all the touchpoints that impact the customer buying experience. Your work will span direct problem solving and leading a stellar team. As we look towards our next chapter, you will be at the forefront of growth as we scale our company from one stage to the next.

What you'll own:

  • Alongside the CRO, CMO and SVP of SBO, develop our GTM strategy that will deliver our billings growth and operating margin targets

  • Create operational cohesion and strong execution by knitting together the different functions of our GTM team

  • Develop a data-driven, probability weighted billings forecast for the business; drive continual improvement in our billings forecasting, pipeline management, segmentation, quota, territory setting, demand generation, and pipeline forecasting processes

  • Lead the team in getting ahead of critical strategic and operational initiatives on our road map. Specifically will lead teams responsible for operations across sales, customer success, marketing, and professional services

  • Create a new standard for operational excellence within GTM operations. Establish new processes and refine current ones - process improvement activities for all functions, consider risks and opportunities, recommend and lead changes

  • Design our GTM strategy to support decision making. Own our data sets, dashboards, KPIs, and ultimately our decision making framework; serve as an internal advisor to the team, coaching and providing direction on GTM strategy

  • Develop an excellent communication framework and partnership across the GTM teams, organizational functions and executive leaders

  • Guide and influence larger, cross-divisional teams outside of your direct span of control in order to achieve company strategic and operational initiatives

  • Push the sales, success, and marketing teams forward and drive speed to the business

  • Lead a high performing Revenue Strategy and Operations team

  • Have worked alongside senior executives like a CRO, Head of Sales, and CMO delivering exceptional results

  • Have worked for medium or large companies (likely larger than $300-500M+ in revenue), leading sales and marketing operations at scale

  • Loves SaaS and fast growth tech

  • Have examples of creating and delivering high profile strategic projects within a business

  • Have led high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Have worked in a continually changing environment where you would need to adjust strategies and realign priorities

  • Likely have worked for a public company

  • Likely have an MBA or equivalent

The Head of Sales Enablement is responsible for leading a high-performing Sales Enablement team in the creation, development, delivery and evolution of onboarding, systems, tools and programs that enhance the execution of Global sales processes. The role will provide strategy, leadership, direction and execution of the strategic vision of the sales processes and delivery of productivity improvements to the sales teams. This high profile position relies on a deep knowledge and understanding of sales processes, sales systems and innovative enablement solutions; including sales onboarding. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). You accomplish this by: ● Leading and managing a high-performing team focused on enablement programs including onboarding, tool strategy, roadmap and delivery aligned with the sales process, and selling motions. ● Developing and implementing strategy for enablement programs as well as various tools and quality effectiveness programs. ● Initiating, developing and managing strong partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels in the organization to ensure alignment across Pluralsight and ongoing effectiveness including Product Experience and Product Marketing. ● Partnering with Product Experience and Product Marketing to refine Sales and Success messaging to customers around the Pluralsight value proposition to Learners, Tech leaders and C-level Executives. ● Driving continuous innovation in onboarding, enablement programs and tools to enhance overall excellence across the sales teams. ● Overseeing the development, implementation and execution of training strategies, programs, and curriculum for the sales organization that increases salesforce productivity and performance globally; including sales certification process. ● Ensuring the curriculum covers market, competition, Pluralsight product and services, sales processes, value based solution sales methodology, leader coaching, sales tools and skills training. ● Providing leadership and guidance, mentor and develop the sales enablement team's domain knowledge and thought leadership. ● Living and breathing our values to guide your decisions and interactions You'd be a great fit if your current track record looks like this: ● Excellence in enabling sales teams that crush quotas ● Developed proven ways to scale sales teams and know how to coach to success ● Previous experience in a value based solution selling quota carrying role and ability to understand the challenges that sales teams encounter is desired. ● Demonstrated understanding of complex sales cycles and how to coach and mentor in that area ● Executive-level presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels in the organization ● Experience operating and executing sales enablement programs in a Global sales environment ● Proven change agent ● Experience launching and managing Global sales training programs ● Proficiency in technology and CRM preferred ● Ability to adjust training techniques to accommodate various learning styles ● Proficient in the use of development and implementation with E-Learning tools ● Demonstrated business and technical competency ● Proficient in Google Suite (Google Docs, sheets, etc) ● Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills and ability to be a dynamic speaker ● Strong interpersonal skills Skills that will aid in your success: ● Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others ● Data driven - ability to sift through a large amount of data and narrow it down to the most important trends.
