Amazon.com is looking for a Head of Retail for Home Entertainment. The role offers the unique opportunity to own a sizable US-based P&L consisting primarily of our TV, Streaming Media Player, and Home Projector categories with direct vendor management and supply chain oversight. It also includes the responsibility to scale a cross-Amazon.com program that drives discoverability and growth.

Key job responsibilities

Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams to achieve goals. They must be able to effectively engage with C-level executive management of top vendors to develop partnership strategies and business growth programs.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Home Entertainment P&L including strategic planning, business forecasting and driving a positive consumer experience to grow the category.

  • Establish and maintain a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business.

  • Set goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader Consumer Electronics goals and vision.

  • Own the Handpicked program, a manually curated marketing program focused on high-consideration categories, and continue its growth and productivity.

  • Hire, develop, and lead a team consisting of vendor, supply chain, and product managers.

  • Lead collaboration with our vendors, external partners and internal teams to remove any barriers to growing Home Entertainment sales and profitable product selection.

  • Communicate with management and senior executives about category direction, strategy and the operational execution.


  • 7+ years of relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, and/or business management/consulting with a proven history of delivering results

  • 5+ years of managing teams and successfully coaching and developing others

  • Strong business judgement and excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience in building senior level internal and external relationships in a complex and dynamic organization and in influencing cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment demonstrating prioritization, planning and task delegation

  • Strong analytical acumen and comfortable with drawing metric-based conclusions from large and various data sources

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.


  • MBA/Master's Degree

  • Prior Amazon or other ecommerce retail experience in vendor management and supply chain management

  • Proven negotiating skills and influencing abilities

  • Track record of building and developing a high performing team

  • Strong commercial experience

  • Excellent knowledge SQL and Excel

We recruit prospective partners and support the on-boarding and growth of existing partners as they build, launch, market, and scale business through the recently announced Stripe Partner Ecosystem. Stripe works with a broad set of partners: from technology software companies to platforms that embed Stripe payments and fintech to consulting firms that implement our products. The Global Partner Marketing team works closely with the GTM partnerships organization, and with our regional sales and marketing teams around the world.</p><p>What you'll do</p><p>The Head of Global Partner Marketing will own partner marketing globally across all partner types and will set and execute a global marketing strategy that engages and retains current and prospective partners, delivers value rich marketing benefits to partners, creates high-quality leads and ultimately revenue for partner solutions, and communicates the value of the Stripe Partner Ecosystem to users and prospects. In this role, you will develop a strong and trusted relationship with the global GTM partnerships team, working closely with partner development, partner programs, and partner operations to jointly grow the partner ecosystem at Stripe.
