The mission of this role is to build upon and enhance Trust in our ecosystem by taking a consumer centric view on Privacy, Data, Security, Personalization, Ad optimization and Measurement. The role will lead Consumer product developments, strategies and act as the single product lead for all of the company-wide teams that participate in various facets of establishing consumer Trust.
Drive a consumer-centric, differentiated vision and strategy that builds Trust in the industry. Drive organizational alignment, collaboration, execution, definition of company level OKRs, strategies and measurement for established OKRs.
Evolve our culture, mindset and approaches for user data to reinforce trust. Establish strong relationships with Legal, Privacy, Engineering and Product leadership across the company to exert influence on roadmaps, execute on initiatives and ensure all parts of the company work towards leading with Ecosystem Trust.
This leader will enable Verizon Media to differentiate itself in a crowded digital/internet marketplace, with the goal of enabling deeper relationships with our users and turning them into our promoters driving organic growth of DAUs, MAUs and signed-in users. Verizon Media's current growth strategy of Commerce and Subscriptions relies on us gaining strong trust and building strong relationships with our users, success in establishing ourselves as a privacy first company will ensure that users are able to trust us with their transactions, products and services.
Strong track record of leading large organizational initiatives and using a mix of direct and indirect influence tactics to drive organizational change
Experience in building and maintaining products that build clear consumer trust and use on a daily basis
Experience with Privacy by Design/Default and Security by Design/Default approaches.
Ability to operate and align with privacy accountability structures and processes.
Experience with balancing consumer needs, use-cases and leveraging signals or data to optimize their experiences
Track record ensuring the functioning of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth
Preferred experience working with products affected by industry privacy and data regulation
Evaluating performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
Demonstrated abilities to work across many teams, including Legal, Privacy and Engineering.
Knowledge and experience around consumer data, privacy and trust initiatives.
