Finastra wishes to appoint a Head of Product Marketing Payments, reporting to the CPO, who will define, set, and execute the product marketing strategy of Payments and work with colleagues to become a leader in Payment's solutions globally.

This individual will have full ownership of the Product Marketing Strategy and play a critical role in the go to market of our solutions. Working closely with Product Management and Product Development colleagues, you will craft the story and shape the approach to maximize brand awareness in the market. You must be evangelical about our strategy and ensure our go to market execution reflects the appropriate messaging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Payments CPO in leading the product strategy and messaging.

  • Oversee GTM activity and assist product managers with sales enablement.

  • Determine need and deliver sales enablement tools pertaining to messaging, value proposition, etc.

  • Understands and stays current on market trends. Occasionally, performs market research and understands the strategic implications.

  • Continually monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks and recommend strategic and tactical strategies.

  • Contribute to business model and pricing decisions.

  • Identify offering weaknesses or go-to-market execution issues and initiates actions or remediation proposals.

  • Present product information and industry thought leadership to external and internal audiences.

  • Product awards and analyst update engagement.

  • Own the external interactions with the press, industry analysts and represent Finastra at customer events.

  • Serving as a trusted advisor and confidant to the CPO.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in B2B software product marketing, within the Financial Services industry

  • Must have SaaS product experience.

  • Proven ability to manage a diverse array of senior stakeholders. Comfortable presenting at C-level and ability to build credible and influential Exec-level relationships.

  • Significant experience in the marketing of software products.

  • Proven ability to define marketing objectives, utilize external insight and competitive insight to develop category growth.

  • Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills.

  • Desire to collaborate and build consensus in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

  • Excellent communication and stellar interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Dynamic, innovative and a market challenger.
