We are looking for a senior executive to structure and drive "win-win" arrangements with our clients, partners and vendors. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, you will bring expertise to stand up and drive a best in class procurement function within our company to include optimization and management of MediaMath's partner & supplier agreements.
The Head of Procurement & Negotiation will not only develop overall cost reduction targets and oversee execution of these initiatives across the business they will train key stakeholders on negotiation techniques to ensure all parties feel confident engaging in complex and critical negotiations designed to optimize results for all sides.
Create and execute a new global procurement process for MediaMath designed to create efficiency, deliver economic savings and maximize beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders
Manage MediaMath's terms of agreement with our Media, Tech and Data supply chain partners
Negotiate/renegotiate terms of agreement with vendors which support all areas of the organization
Develop and implement cost reduction targets across MediaMath
Share procurement best practices with the business to help stakeholders drive discussions around pricing and procurement in an efficient and optimal manner
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, partners and vendors
A self-starter, with the ability to build the roadmap and drive delivery through operational excellence
A relationship builder, excited by the opportunity to partner with team members cross-functionally
Able to challenge our "ways of working" to maximize our resources and enhance our success
Able to influence and facilitate groups with diverse perspectives and bring teams to consensus/alignment
Able to demonstrate prudent judgment when making important decisions by utilizing knowledge of industry best practices and current trends
A bachelor's degree
A minimum 10 years demonstrated procurement and strategic negotiation experience within an Adtech/SAAS environment
Experience leading negotiations with Fortune 500 companies
Achieved significant cost savings and optimal non-economic terms through the negotiation of key economic contractual and other terms
Believe in the value of "win-win" arrangements
