As the Head of PR, you will be responsible for all Global communications for FitXR and its portfolio of products. Youll define and implement a communications strategy that includes corporate PR, Consumer PR, Issues management and Influencer relations across multiple markets. Youll report directly to to the CMO and work closely with the Co-Founders to tell the FitXR story and help establish FitXR as the worlds leading VR fitness company

Areas of responsibility

  • Define FitXRs communications strategy and implement across multiple markets (with initial focus on US & UK)
  • Raise awareness of FitXR and help to position it as the world's leading VR fitness company
  • Secure media coverage for FitXRs products in a broad range of media
  • Seek out thought leadership & speaker opportunities
  • Create key messaging & QAs documents
  • Define and implement our influencer strategy (working closely with our social media manager)
  • Manage external PR agency

Your ideal experience will be in

  • Previous corporate and consumer PR experience either in-house or within an agency.
  • Experience running PR campaigns in the US
  • First class communications skills both verbal and written
  • Broad range of media contacts, especially in the US
  • Experience working in the tech, gaming or fitness industry
  • Experience managing a PR team (either internally or managing an external agency)
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience working with influencers

In addition, you will be responsible for managing internal communications initiatives, specifically supporting the brand's marketing and broker/agent relations. You will also provide added value to Corcoran Affiliates by creating strategy and delivering information to help empower Corcoran sales professionals to fully leverage the power of publicity to promote their personal brand and expertise through earned media in their local markets. In this role, you'll… * Create strategic PR plans in collaboration with marketing teams and agencies to cover all aspects of media mix and manage budgeting. * Manage content and distribution of all news releases or other external messaging and program collateral as needed. * Work directly with leadership to ensure flawless execution of all executive corporate communications including, letters, presentation and video scripts, media alerts and news releases. * Build strong, positive relationships with the operations and servicing teams to earn brand coverage at the local level in support of franchise openings, professional recognition, industry events, etc. * Operate in a seamless, integrated manner with cross-functional corporate teams including marketing, advertising, social media, brand communications, events and awards, franchise sales, franchise services, international operations, learning, etc. to meet their objectives for program promotion * Partner and align with Realogy's head of communication and PR to ensure strategic alignment and execution. * Plan and execute organization-wide executive communications by maintaining CEO and executive committee communications calendar, company-wide content pipeline and campaigns by channel, audience, and review/approval/publishing timelines. * Develop and manage short- and long-term communications campaigns that shape employee and agent mindset and inspire behaviors that drive Corcoran's growth, leveraging industry news and trends as content for compelling messages. * Help plan and execute CEO Town Halls and other team meetings which may include writing speeches, video scripts, and communication for senior leadership. * Oversee the production and distribution of company newsletters including managing job assignments, ensuring the proper topics/quantity of posts, managing distribution and monitoring quality and creativity. * Work closely with social media and marketing teams to ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms. * Work with the copywriting team to produce creative, clear and consistent copy to launch and promote products and programs, communicate changes and new additions, and support internal adoption and recruitment. * Respond to media inquiries and handle promotion of executive staff via media tours, events and territory visits. * Implement measurement mechanism to ensure effectiveness of communications strategy. You possess… * Stellar writing, editing and verbal communication skills with a passion for editorial excellence. * Strong presentation skills, exhibiting a highly professional presence. * The ability to think strategically while executing tactically in support of the company's objectives. * Strong organizational skills with demonstrated success in managing multiple projects; and, adjusting priorities in a fast-moving, pressure-driven business environment. * Collaborative leadership skills with the demonstrated ability to work creatively with and build and maintain cross-functional relationships while bringing together different teams and projects. * Strong experience working directly with C-suite level executives on strategic communications. * An understanding of contemporary communication media, and experience in utilizing them effectively. * High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite along with the ability to master new content management software.
