Create and lead overall podcast and spoken word content strategy for Pandora
Serve as a key advisor to the VP of Content Partnerships, the CFO and the CEO on non-music content strategy
Build and manage podcast team
Develop, implement and drive the sourcing, licensing and managing of all such content partners
Work closely with Product, Programming, Sales, Operations, Finance and Legal to develop podcast business strategy with supporting business models, and assess business impacts of potential opportunities, and implement them
Evaluating potential arrangements and agreements with podcast publishers, news outlets and other non-music content creators
Advise and assist executive management with developing and executing Pandora's business model with respect to non-music content licensing
Lead podcast team in managing partnerships and podcast publisher relationships on an ongoing basis
Drive and execute Pandora's original content strategy
10-15 years business experience negotiating and drafting content agreements and setting content strategy
3-5 years experience developing content or content strategy within the podcast industry
Demonstrated success leading a strategic content organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Highly articulate and persuasive verbal and written communication skills; Ability to provide recommendations to Pandora's leadership team as required.
Strong negotiation experience and skills; specifically the ability to handle negotiations with all content owners of all sizes
Excellent communicator, team player, and dedicated professional
