The Who, What, Why and Where

Twilio's Trust & Security team is responsible for detecting and responding to all security incidents on Twilio's complex global network. Our platform integrity team is a cross-functional team bringing together leaders throughout the company to address issues of abuse and misuse of the platform. This team will identify risks and define features that will prevent malicious actors from using the Twilio network for illegal or inappropriate purposes.

  • You have an advanced degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Law, Business, or Engineering.

What?

As the leader of Twilio's Platform Integrity team, you can expect challenges like:

  • Working with leaders across the company and outside it to identify risks and prioritize the work to minimize the impact of those risks.

  • Providing input in design reviews for new features or new tools designed to address fraud and misuse on the platform.

  • Defining mitigation and response plans for identified risks.

  • Evaluating new technologies or solutions to determine whether they fit our needs.

  • Organizing game days and simulations to test mitigations and response plans.

  • Directly managing a team of project managers and engineers.

Bonus Points for:

  • Prior experience working with national and international law enforcement agencies

  • Knowledge of and experience with security issues for global telecommunications and Internet providers

You will also lead the designers responsible for creating highly usable tools for our ad operations team and game teams. * Create a vision for ad innovation that pushes the boundaries of our existing technologies. * Use customer research to assist in developing personas, use cases and design proposals. * Translate various models of player behavior into conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, information architecture diagrams, interaction specifications and working prototypes. * Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design documents. * Identify opportunities to improve the tasks of our internal stakeholders. * Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class design team. * Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, engineering, and game designers and developers. Player Profile * 8+ years of experience in creating UX strategy and designing products for mobile applications and/or web-based tools. * Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Interaction, or equivalent practical experience. Masters a plus. * Experience in a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role as well as leading a team of these individuals. * Previous experience working within the the advertising and/or gaming industries. * Knowledge of technical constraints of designs and ability to advise on optimization and implementation. * Experience with qualitative and quantitative usability methods. * Portfolio demonstrating innovative products that have achieved market success. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen to stakeholders and effectively advocate for your design position. * Experience working in an agile development environment.
