Elation Health is seeking a talented, experienced, thoughtful, and versatile Head of People to join our leadership team, create a remarkable experience for our people, and help transform healthcare one primary care practice at a time.
The Head of People will establish company culture from the top through the entire company and will drive hiring and development. You will assess Elation's people operations needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, and leadership development, and provide solutions in these spaces as needed. You will also be responsible for evaluating, establishing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices. This role reports directly to the CEO.
Build and lead scalable talent management function, including recruiting, onboarding and development
Design and implement the company's people strategy, in partnership with the executive team, to optimize growth, productivity, and engagement with all our employees across the country
Maintain knowledge of U.S. HR policies, programs, laws, practices and issues, and maintain all People systems, tools, and data
Build a performance management and development process for goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning
Experience & Skills:
10+ years of experience in Human Resources management with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions
Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
Experience in developing and implementing compensation plans and programs in a venture-backed growth stage environment
Excellent skills in a Google suite, Slack, and Asana environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex human resource issues, using data and metrics, where applicable
Demonstrated success in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
