Oh, and a few particulars for this role:

Signifyd is seeking a Head of Partnerships - Financial and Fraud Services to join our Business Development team and report to the VP of Global Partnerships. You will have primary responsibility for building and executing on Signifyd's strategy for advancing relationships in the payments space. This means thinking critically about the overall direction of the industry as it relates to a dynamic, global payments space, and helping Signifyd to invest our resources to provide the greatest possible value to the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for being hands on with top tier partners, while providing senior management support for our ongoing partner activities. You will have the chance to scope and manage a team of partner managers to best address the needs of our payments partner community, and you will have direct access to and support from the executive leadership team here at Signifyd in accomplishing your goals.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at the CXO level and think critically about our payments strategy, as well as experience managing complex partner relationships. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions both internally and externally. Experience in the payments space is a plus, as a deep understanding of how Signifyd provides value to all stages of the payments process will be essential to success in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, and create GTM strategy for Signifyd's payments and fraud services business

  • Manage top tier partner relationships as a member of our senior management team with support from and access to executive leadership within the company

  • Assess and build a team to efficiently manage payment partner relationships

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field

  • The right person will possess 8-10 years of partner, sales, and/or business development experience in or serving the payments space

  • Prior experience developing highly productive partner focused teams in the payments or commerce space strongly preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations

  • Must possess exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills

  • Able to make independent choices and recommendations without immediate supervision

  • Travel and participation in after-hours meetings with partners as required

Consultants are required to be experts in all aspects of the solutions and to be able to provide best-practice approaches for the configuration and use of the software. Our consultants also provide advisory services and fraud management thought leadership that is independent of the solution used. Advisory services are aimed at helping financial institutions in managing fraud exposure across different products (eg Cards, Retail Banking, Acquiring Loans, Insurance), coping with industry changes (eg Migrating to Chip & PIN), or dealing with specific fraud management concerns (eg First Party Fraud, Internal Fraud). Provide best-in-class, impartial, practical and actionable enhancement recommendations to clients’ fraud environments. Maintain expert-level knowledge of fraud analytics. Collaborate with the client, other functional areas at FICO, and your Advisors colleagues to bring the best possible ideas forth for maximizing the business benefits delivered by the fraud solution. Participate in detailed data analyses that support our recommendations with fact. Problem solve and develop approaches for challenging situations that address a unique client need. Nurture the client relationship with both Advisors and FICO to build long-term mutually beneficial relationships. Proactively participate in constantly improving FICO’s solutions by bringing “from the field” ideas and perspective. What We’re Seeking Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study (or equivalent experience). Sound understanding and experience in all areas of fraud including detection, prevention, and analytics based on at least 15 years’ experience in this field. Experience supporting the development of strategic planning documents, proposals, business cases, and detailed reports complemented by excellent communication and professional presentation skills. Proven ability to develop strong relationships with clients, in project leadership, and a demonstrated results orientation. Management experience. Able to work proactively with minimal supervision.
