Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of Distribution, the Head of North American Distribution will help shape, implement and uphold the firm's regional distribution strategy to expand third-party capital and client growth.

  • Shape, implement and support the regional Sales strategy in conjunction with our global strategic vision

  • Lead relationships with clients across Institutions to drive penetration - facilitate and manage the complete sales cycle and be accountable for identifying, qualifying, and winning business in the region

  • Leverage established relationships and track record to growth third party business across region

  • Partner with Investment teams to ensure we continue to develop a scalable product set suitable and marketable for success across the region

  • Appraise and enhance the existing North American distribution model and in conjunction with the Global Head of Distribution, create metrics for measures of success, to support the firms long term growth objectives

  • Set a high standard of team collaboration, embrace and be an ambassador for the firms' culture and set the appropriate tone for the business by fostering innovation and change while preserving the continuity and strengths of the firm's existing business

Qualifications

  • You have at least 15 years of demonstrated sales and/or investment success in a global, large-scale asset management or financial services firm

  • You have strong awareness of the regulatory frameworks we operate in and can understand how the business can adapt to regulatory change

  • With an outstanding reputation as a trusted sales professional, you have an understanding of the institutional investor mindset and possess a high level of familiarity with investor relations and legal/regulatory compliance

  • You are emotionally intelligent, team oriented, and possess outstanding leadership skills

  • Analytical rigor and ethical integrity are essential qualifications. To actualize the firm's aggressive growth strategy, you possess and can demonstrate strengths in both entrepreneurship and enterprise management

  • You are a thought leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships across diverse cultures

  • Understanding of the following asset classes: public and private fixed income , real estate debt and equity, and listed equities, and their application and value to different client sectors

  • Developed deep relationships across Institutions and proven track record of growing third party penetration

  • Strong track record of leading high-performing teams, developing talent, fostering positive culture

  • FINRA Series 7 and 24 required (or obtained within 3 months of employment)
