The Head of MMFA Marketing is responsible for the strategy, development, coordination and execution of MassMutual Financial Advisors (MMFA) marketing programs that support the organizations overall business objectives. This individual serves as a member of the leadership team, the role requires effective collaboration and partnership with Distribution, Product, Brand Marketing, Field Partners, Executive Leadership, and other key partners to build and deliver comprehensive programs and campaigns that support the firm's suite of solutions and distribution strategy.
Reports to the Head of MassMutual Financial Advisors
Key responsibilities include strategic planning, business development, product marketing, field engagement, innovation and marketing communications.
Oversees all aspects of the MMFA's Marketing functions; helps develop and implement MMFA's annual and long-term business, sales and marketing strategies
Know the constituents needs, market dynamics, competitive landscape and technical information
Continuously improve/innovate delivery of product, advisor, constituent content to improve user experience, efficiency and engagement
Understand MMFA deployments holistically and influence product deployment & marketing decisions.
Participate in MMFA product portfolio discussions and contribute to new product development; determine & communicate impacts
Coordinates the development and implementation of marketing activities with other areas of the organization (e.g., Workplace, Corporate, etc.). Interfaces with other Leaders in the organization to ensure collaboration with appropriate businesses
Oversees the creation of all collateral materials. Work with leadership team to ensure a consistent look, voice and message among all marketing materials to include product/sales collateral, wholesale materials, social media, marketing campaigns, and all other communication both internal and external.
Ensure full engagement of key stakeholders via ongoing communication and review of results. Activities may include: delivering updates, reporting on results and successes, assessing effectiveness, recommending areas of improvement, measuring success

Ability to clearly articulate client needs and insights through actively interacting with internal and external clients to understand their needs and determine an experience, content, and marketing communications initiatives.
Strong interpersonal capabilities; ability to develop strong trust-based relationships and manage effectively; ability to build and motivate high-functioning teams
Strong business acumen including exposure/experience in Marketing, sales, operations management, budgeting, forecasting and economics
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence teams and key decision makers and lead an organization through change
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Series 7 & 24 (or obtain within 6 months)
At least ten (10) years' Marketing experience
5 years Leadership experience
Experience working in a complex business environment, ideally financial services industry
Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
