Head of Marketing

Continu is seeking a Head of Marketing to join our fast-paced team full-time. As the Head of Marketing, you will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will lead our nimble marketing team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to position Continu's award-winning learning management platform as the market leader.

You will be a hands-on leader willing to wear multiple hats to find creative ways to market Continu in a competitive landscape. As Head of Marketing, you'll report directly to the CEO and work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering.

As a Series A company, your success will be determined by your ability to execute vs delegate as this is a hands-on marketing role with a lot of exciting growth opportunities.

About the role:

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy, including branding, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Leadership teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and growth targets.

  • Create and execute demand-generation campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for all company product releases, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and business goals.

  • Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, webinars, and more, as required.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to refine and adjust marketing strategies.

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of compelling marketing content, collateral, and presentations. Including writing for both brand and product marketing initiatives.

  • Assist Sales and Customer Success with competitive and feature talk tracks and collateral to enable our customer-facing teams to articulate our product value.

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, including whitepapers, industry reports, and any relevant speaking engagements.

Requirements for Successful Application:

  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with a proven track record in Series A size companies

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in building and managing high-performing marketing teams in startup environments

  • Strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives

  • Proficiency in analyzing market trends and utilizing data-driven insights for decision-making

  • Excellent communication skills for internal team management and external stakeholder engagement

  • Experience in brand development and management

  • Experience with modern marketing and sales tools including Hubspot, Salesforce, DemandBase, Gong, ChiliPiper, ZoomInfo, and more

  • Proven budget management skills and ability to optimize resources for maximum impact

  • Adaptability to industry changes and ability to pivot marketing strategies in response to evolving market dynamics

  • Innovative and creative mindset with a keen eye for design, coupled with an open ear to absorb market feedback

  • Experience working and leading outside resources such as agencies and contractors

Salary & Benefits Range:
