We work with labs worldwide to understand their specific workflows and needs and develop personalised solutions ranging from diagnostic, and drug discovery to synthetic biology. Our LINQ platform allows us to simplify everyday automation tasks, while supporting more advanced paths for specialised workflows, in a fast, flexible, and cost-efficient way.
Automata is now looking for a Head of Marketing to lead our global marketing strategy.

As the Head of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our global marketing strategy. Your work will directly impact our brand's visibility, market penetration, and revenue growth, positioning Automata as a leader in the life sciences industry. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure our marketing efforts align with our business goals.
You will be responsible for:
Global Marketing Strategy: Own and develop a comprehensive global marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and joint go-to-market (GTM) objectives.
Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of five marketers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Market Positioning: Oversee Automata's brand, messaging, and positioning in the life sciences sector, collaborating with product and sales teams to differentiate our solutions.
Demand Generation: Drive demand and pipeline generation efforts, focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Product Marketing: Define and execute GTM strategies for new product launches and updates.
Industry Presence: Network with industry stakeholders, serve as a spokesperson for the company, and enhance Automata's presence in the market.
Public Relations: Manage PR agencies and handle company communications to maintain a positive public image.
What it takes:
Experience: 10+ years in marketing, with at least 5 years leading a marketing function in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the life sciences and/or technology sectors. Experience in cloud and/or data markets is a plus.
Strategic Vision: Proven track record of creating and implementing global marketing strategies to support enterprise sales.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions.
Public Relations: Experience managing PR agencies and acting as a company spokesperson.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Collaboration: High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Industry Network: Established a network within the life sciences industry, including relationships with key opinion leaders, industry organizations, and potential partners.
