We are looking for a Head of Managed Care Contracting who can oversee and execute a national strategy to secure managed care contracts in all markets in which Kindbody expands.
Develop national managed care contracting strategy
Foster relationships with managed care organizations to develop new business opportunities and partnership
Analyze the financial and strategic value of current and proposed managed care contracts, proposals and programs
Lead all managed contract rates, payment terms and language negotiations
Incorporate new state and federal regulations and industry standards into contract language
Collect market intelligence, insurer profiles and benchmarks on costs to help Kindbody develop pricing strategies and an up-to-date charge master.
Solicit input and cooperation of physicians, administrators and key staff in developing profitable products for revenue enhancement and cost reduction initiatives to position Kindbody for contracting and new business development opportunities.
Develop future value based payment agreements, shared savings and risk based contracting strategies.
Be able to execute multiple projects simultaneously and achieve successful results.

You'd be a good fit if:
You have a Bachelor's Degree (in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field a plus)
You have a minimum of 5 years of managed care experience required. Prior experience at a provider entity (provider network, health system) or a major managed care organization a plus.
You have experience analyzing data for a healthcare entity.
You have an understanding of payment methodologies.
You have knowledge of commercial payers and self-funded products.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills required
Nice to have:
You have contracting experience with specialty services (e.g.,women's health/IVF) is desirable.
You have strong knowledge of claims and membership data is a plus.
