Your responsibilities seed campus is thyssenkrupp Elevator's unique in-house training organization that enables our employees to continue to learn while ensuring we provide our customers with the best resources and talent. From 12 international locations, our global seed campus delivers ongoing needs-based training and support of business transformations for employees around the world. As a business-specific training provider, seed campus is engaged in a continuous dialog with our business leaders about current and future learning needs translating them into state-of-the-art learning offerings. The Head of Learning & Transformation North America is responsible for the seed campus training activities in North America and Canada as well as working with global peers to drive global learning initiatives forward. It's an exciting time for us. Our recently announced new headquarters will include a state-of-the-art training facility that will allow us to more effectively and efficiently deliver training throughout the region. The successful candidate will possess the necessary skills and abilities needed to execute on our strategic way forward and enable seed campus to become a world-class training organization.

  • Establish a state-of-the art learning organization for thyssenkrupp Elevators in North America:

  • Set-up a high-performing team for training design and delivery

  • Create transparency on current learning activities and resources in the region and ensure alignment with the seed campus portfolio and organization

  • Set-up of a training governance structure, definition of processes and guidelines

  • Establish metrics to indicate training impact and effectiveness

  • Consolidation and standardization of training "grey market" to ensure seed campus is the organizations' sole learning provider

  • Serve as an important partner on eye level to our senior business leaders in order to identify current and future learning & transformation needs and consult them on how to address them

  • Manage several functional client managers addressing the learning and transformation needs of functional leaders

  • Manage learning managers who design, plan and implement learning initiatives (from digital to immersive) aligned with company initiatives and strategies

  • Ensure high training quality by functionally leading a regional trainer network

  • Further enhance the use of the current Learning Management System

  • Define and execute on a digital learning strategy

  • Supervisory Responsibilities include full people management responsibility, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and development.

  • Management and Controlling of seed campus North America's budget

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Organizational Development or related field required; master's preferred

  • Strong business acumen and ability to impact and consult senior leaders

  • Intensive community building skills

  • Ability to quickly adapt to and learn about the Elevator business

  • Consultant and learning management experience highly desired

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence in a corporate matrix environment

  • Proactive, highly organized, able to drive project progress through effective issues management and communication

  • Exceptional leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to influence and drive results-oriented change, innovation, and customer focus while fostering positive working relationships and leading people

  • Experience in managing multiple complex projects and demonstrated ability to achieve success both independently and through others

  • Experience in international and multicultural environments

New Signature's Managed Services team is growing fast and we're looking for our next Regional Director to join us. ROLE DESCRIPTION What impact will you have in this role? The Regional Director, Managed Services Delivery NA is a strategic Leadership role in New Signatures Global Managed Services group at New Signature having direct impact to the success of the business. Specifically, this role provides transformational thought leadership as we mature our approach to global Microsoft Managed Services delivery throughout North America times zones. As an authority on Microsoft Managed Services solutions, the position will support the Sales organization on strategic enterprise accounts throughout North America. Additionally, the Regional Director ensures client success by providing management oversite on Service Levels, Major Incidents, Requests and Changes, and leads global service improvement initiatives with peer group and other New Signature teams. The Regional Director has management responsibility of all managed services staff in direct reporting line for North America, accountable for building and mentoring an outstanding team in NA to meet our global customer requirements. What will you be doing day-to-day? * KPIs – Ensuring Incident and Change management and resolution SLAs are met at all times during the NA time zone. * Team - Growing and mentoring great people, showing them clear career progression and inspiring them to be part of New Signature.. Deliver training opportunities that expand our capability and increase our service to the market. Responsible for all staffing and resource driven decisions in the NA region with assistance of the Director, Managed Service Operations. * Business – Providing thought leadership and initiative to continue to transform New Signature's managed service business to be cloud native and industry leading. Contribute to management and leadership meetings. Identify areas of improvement for market viability. * Sales – For strategic enterprise accounts support the NA Solutioning Advisory Services (SAS) Managed Services Sales Leads by attending sales meetings as New Signature's authority on Microsoft Managed Services solutions, participating in pre-sales activity, and providing clear managed services delivery leadership. Act as the Delivery Approver in the New Signature sales proposal approval process for all NA sales regions. * Escalations –Provide leadership oversite to the NA Service Delivery teams for the Major Incident and Escalations. Process. Provide support to the NA Service Delivery teams in customer satisfaction, and provides leadership and guidance to ensure Post Incident Review actions are taken and implemented. * Process & Change Management – Collaborate with the Director, Service Portfolio and his team to drive the internal continuous improvement process to drive forward our ITIL / SIAM transition and mature our managed services business. * Client Onboarding – For NA customers run an Acceptance Review Board to ensure all pre-requisites and dependencies are met for successful transition into Global Managed Services delivery. * Finance –Working with the Director, Managed Service Operations to determine financial impacts to resourcing needs and ensure that services are delivered within existing budgets. * Service Design – Provide pre-sales Service Design services to regions without sufficient scale to hire their own dedicated team. What technical skills are required to be successful in this role? * Provides advice and guidance in area of high-level technical direction * Provides input into technical/commercial direction of the engagement * Ensures processes and procedures are aligned to ITIL methodology where appropriate * Keeps level of knowledge consistently up to date to ensure advice is reflective of the latest thinking/legislation * Is regarded as an "authority" and acts as a mentor/coach to others * Required knowledge of the following: * Microsoft Cloud Technologies and Services * Managed Services delivery practices and standards * Consultative Selling Practices * IT Outsource and Transformation * Service Management Methodologies (ITIL) * Experience in managing teams delivering or using the following are desirable: * Microsoft Technologies * System Center * Operating System * Active Directory * Azure * Office 365 * ServiceNow, or other ITSM/ITOM commercial systems * Networking (LAN / WAN) * Virtualization Technologies * Storage concepts and design principles What education and certification credentials are needed for this role? * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or other * 15+ Years of relevant work experience Does the role require travel? * While the team is global, consistent physical presence is required in Atlanta * Travel within North America and the UK is required to collaborate with peers Security Responsibility: All employees must act in accordance with New Signature's corporate security standards.
