As the Head of Healthcare Provider (HCP) Engagement and Medical Marketing for Metagenics and Bariatric Advantage, you are an experienced business leader who has successfully led abreadth of roles to deliver better outcomes for customers and patients. You have a strong in-depth marketing expertise and track-record of delivering outstanding results by increasing HCP recommendations, capturing market share, executing best-in-class product launches, and developing new markets. Collaboration, solution orientation and accelerating outcomes is your everyday mindset. You are able to co-develop a long-term strategy for HCP engagement, whilst operating and be impactful in the immediate environment to achieve quarterly and annual goals.

The Role:

You will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and plans to drive awareness, recommendation, trial and adoption by healthcare professionals (MDs, NPs, PAs, NDs, DCs, etc.), supporting both sell-in and sell-through sales for Metagenic's HCP channel. This significant role will be a key driver for the growth of the brand, helping to refine and convey brand/product value propositions and oversee HCP go-to-market strategy.

This role is a vital part of the NAM marketing team and in charge of creating and leading the HCP strategy development and all core executional elements. You will work closely with all internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Sales, Medical and other functions) as well as external agency partners to help Metagenics become the #1 Dr. Recommended supplement brand.

You will be responsible for leading an HCP marketing team executing multiple aspects of HCP marketing including trade shows/conferences, lead generation, paid media awareness, point-of-sale materials and patient/client communications, email communications to professional leads and partners, social media marketing, budgeting, forecasting and ROI reporting/recommendations.

You will report to the Head of Marketing, North America and will collaborate with other key stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate has proven professional marketing and commercialization experience working with HCPs in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical aesthetics or medical device industry in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HCP Strategy development across the cross-functional teams in the framework of the Metagenics annual brand planning cycle: Identifying Critical Success Factors and develop a relevant engagement plan with tactics to address them, drive the implementation and monitor execution to increase Metagenics share of recommendation among HCPs.

  • Set clear strategy, prioritize high impact investments, leverage digital capabilities, and optimize field execution. Accountable for leading team to shape and deliver annual plan for HCP and Distributor channels.

  • Partner with Customer Insights to generate and consolidate key insights across HCPs (through business reviews, market research, ad boards, social listening, 1st party data, field sales) and make strategic recommendations to advance brand performance in HCP channel. Develop and monitor consistent Brand KPIs.

  • Develop and implement impactful branded and non-branded omnichannel campaigns for HCPs: Lead the partnership with our internal content/creative teams and external agencies to develop all branded and un-branded campaigns and assets, taking a best-in-class omnichannel engagement approach for all HCPs engagement activities (including Field Sales, KOLs, Professional PR, Digital media, CRM, Lead generation, In Office). Ensure appropriate market analysis and competitive benchmarking in all HCP marketing programs and tactics.

  • Be the brand champion in front of our key customers: You gain insights and develop solutions through the engagement of key customers to drive Metagenics brand equity. You will be an expert in co-marketing with key HCP customers to amplify Metagenics key messages through the voice of HCPs.

  • Being an expert on NAM market and HCP customer to drive share of recommendations: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the supplement market and HCP barriers; partner with leadership stakeholders driving decision-making and tactical execution across diverse functional areas in support of achieving the US goals.

  • Contribute to sound financial forecasting and budgets: overlook and manage the brand and customer group related budget, agency and investment decisions in close collaboration with other Marketing Team members. Contribute to the brand related financial Strat Plan, forecasting and respective business review efforts.

  • Act as a key stakeholder in the development, testing, and deployment of digital healthcare provider tools, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with clinical practice workflows and best practices in provider user experience to drive adoption.

  • Omnichannel Digital Marketing and Customer experience - Demonstrated experience with strategic planning/ cross functional execution of multichannel and omnichannel digital marketing/CRM programs, including ecommerce websites, email, emerging media tactics, mobile (apps/sites/media/SMS), SEO/SEM, social media/social influencers, HCP DOLs/KOLs)

Basic Requirements:

  • 15+ years professional experience across critical functions within HCP Marketing; VMS category preferred

  • The ability to collaborate with a range of different functions at all levels to achieve outcomes

  • Experience of external/customer interactions, market research and strong track record in driving HCP/PR/communication agency collaboration

  • Executive communication skills, ability to communicate to audiences of varied sizes and levels, both US and Global

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred

  • Previous management experience leading a high performing team required

Compensation:

The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $200,000.00/yr. - $240,000.00/yr.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

A minimum of two workdays per week are to be conducted at the Aliso Viejo Office (25 Enterprise, Aliso Viejo, CA). The remaining workdays may be conducted from a remote location.
