About the team & opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, passionate Head of Growth Marketing. Reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will own Ontra's demand generation strategy to drive rapid growth in the enterprise market, both net-new and expansion opportunities. You will have responsibility for the planning, organizing, executing, and measurement of integrated marketing programs and ABM campaigns that result in opportunity creation and revenue growth.

The Head of Growth will be creative and hands-on with a strong bias to action. They will take ownership of growth targets, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment. The right candidate is an excellent strategist who also enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get stuff done.

What you'll do

  • Customer acquisition: Collaborate closely with sales to acquire new enterprise B2B customers by developing and executing effective integrated marketing campaigns and demand generation strategies. Drive top-of-funnel growth through account-based outbound marketing efforts across all channels-including website, digital advertising, email, webinars, events, social media, and direct mail.

  • Customer growth: Develop and implement customer engagement programs, in collaboration with customer success and sales, to improve adoption and retention, increase lifetime value through cross-sell/upsell, and grow advocacy.

  • Cohesive customer experience: Connect the customer-journey across multiple touchpoints, including email, digital, web and events, bringing together cohesive experiences and nurtures to move prospects down the funnel

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and follow-through in all demand generation activities.

  • Team leadership: Lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to individual team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture.

  • Performance analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on channel and campaign performance, using insights to optimize future strategies for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of demand activities on sales pipeline, revenue, sales cycle length, and CAC efficiency.

  • Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance our demand generation efforts and overall market positioning. Identify and create an experimentation/testing approach for demand marketing program pilots.

  • Budget management: Develop and manage the budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive growth.

What you'll bring

  • Tenure: 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS demand generation, 5+ years leading growth marketing teams, with the ability to build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team

  • Industry expertise: Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or legal tech is advantageous.

  • Results: Proven track record of owning and achieving a pipeline and revenue number

  • ABM strategy: Extensive experience in developing and executing successful account-based demand generation strategies targeting enterprise accounts

  • Multi-channel approach: Proven expertise in creating and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing programs that leverage inbound and outbound tactics

  • Customer first: A passion for customers and problem-solving, desire to go deep and become familiar with the customer's needs, challenges and business environment

  • Strong analytical skills: proven track record in making data-driven decisions to continually optimize performance and determine future investments

  • Experimentation mindset: you understand the importance of testing and scaling what works, and can prioritize tests and find ways to get them out quickly.

  • Technical acumen: Strong technical skills with marketing automation (Marketo preferred), ABM, SFDC, Outreach, 6sense / intent platforms, data providers, Google Analytics, and WordPress

  • Strong project management skills: demonstrated proficiency in collaboration tools such as Asana, Slack, and G-Suite

  • Cross-functional communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
