The Head of Global Marketing will craft and execute global marketing strategies to expand our Point of Care (POC) Critical Care portfolio's reach and impact. This pivotal role demands extensive commercial expertise in sales and marketing within the POC testing space and experience with blood gas testing products. The successful candidate will manage a dynamic marketing team and spearhead customer marketing, channel marketing and sales enablement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement global marketing strategies to enhance market share, drive revenue growth, and elevate brand visibility for the POC Critical Care portfolio.

  • Customer Marketing: Design and execute customer-centric marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the benefits and value propositions of our POC Critical Care products.

  • Channel Marketing: Establish and nurture strong relationships with distribution partners and healthcare providers, creating tailored marketing programs to maximize channel performance and product adoption.

  • Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales teams to create impactful sales tools, training programs, and promotional materials that support sales initiatives and optimize customer engagement.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing global marketing team, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the POC testing industry.

  • Product Positioning: Define and articulate the unique value propositions of our POC Critical Care products, ensuring clear differentiation in the market.

  • Budget Management: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to achieve business goals and maximize return on investment (ROI).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Regulatory, and other internal teams to ensure marketing strategies align with product development and regulatory requirements.

  • Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting as necessary to meet objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in sciences, business management or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: At least 10 years of commercial experience (sales and/or marketing) in the POC testing industry, with a strong experience in blood gas testing.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and managing a global marketing team, with a proven track record of executing successful marketing campaigns and driving business growth.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the POC testing market, including current trends, technologies, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.

  • Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Travel: Ability to travel within North America (approximately 25% or as required) to support business objectives
