As the Head of Business systems you will be responsible for managing a high performing team, and accountable for Square's Enterprise Information Systems and Applications Architecture as we empower the business to achieve our next chapter of global growth and scale with a digital workforce. This role will report to the Finance organization and will be a key leader working with various key stakeholders/leadership teams across Square to align technology roadmaps with other Square initiatives.

The Business Technology organization is responsible for enterprise applications and platforms and corporate infrastructure, Service Desk, IT logistics etc. across Square.
Set the vision, values, methods, obstacle, and measures of the Business System's organization to foster an innovative, agile, team culture focused on providing a seamless and delightful employee experience technology platform
Partner with the leadership team to create robust Business Application, reporting services and application architecture roadmaps. Ensure these roadmaps are well understood throughout the business functions and meet emerging requirements
Deliver an integrated and efficient mobile workspace for every employee at Square
Recommend, implement, and operate tools and methods for securing application and managing access control in cooperating with the IT and InfoSec team
Manage a dynamic and talented team that challenges each other to reach their full potential; commit to career development and coaching
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems or related field; or equivalent work experience
Fifteen or more years of experience in IT and business/industry including five years of leadership responsibilities
Expertise in modern SaaS cloud-based technologies as well as middleware API integration. Experience with cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Oracle (Financials and Supply Chain), Mulesoft etc.
Deep understanding of current and emerging methods, such as DevSecOps and Continuous Delivery, that are optimized for agility practices
Strong business acumen and trusted partner setting Business Technology priorities aligned to business strategies
