Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, you will be a crucial member of the Marketing Leadership Team and a key contributor to the Marketing organization and the company overall. This highly visible role will interact with Lendio leadership and collaborate across the organization including working closely with finance, sales, and product leadership.

In this role, you will build upon our industry-leading, inbound lead generation foundation and help us evolve our strategy and team to drive our next phase of growth, testing into new channels, messaging and campaigns to rapidly accelerate the sophistication and efficacy of our demand generation program. You will collaborate closely with the Creative, Organic, Product Marketing, Content Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing teams to drive our direct lending marketplace business serving small business owners. You will own all paid channels. Depending on appetite and experience, the organic and content marketing teams may also roll into this role.

You will also work closely with our Chief Experience officer and business line owners to drive demand from B2B clients for our SaaS products. These products are new to Lendio and currently being brought to market primarily through Account Based Marketing motions but will require stronger Demand Generation involvement in the future.

This hire will be at the Senior Director or VP level depending on depth and breadth of experience. The role can be on-site in our Lehi, Utah office (hybrid remote!) or remote for a non-Utah based hire.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of strategy and execution of end-to-end paid demand generation programs, including, but not limited to paid search, paid social, native, display, direct mail, digital TV, and anything else promising we can test into.

  • Growth of our marketing program beyond its current search-first direct marketing focus.

  • Ownership of our affiliate marketing program which launched late 2022 and is primed for aggressive growth this year.

  • Lead cross-functional teams delivering integrated campaigns to Small Business Owner audiences.

  • Manage seven figure monthly paid media budget.

  • Manage team of marketing professionals supporting paid media and affiliate programs.

  • Partner with sales and finance teams to ensure quality lead delivery.

  • Build a consistent feedback loop and continuously improve and optimize for lead conversion.

  • Partner with business intelligence and finance teams to forecast, track performance, and share results of paid demand generation programs.

  • Work together with the CXO to build an outstanding culture and recruit and mentor a world-class marketing team.

Requirements and Skills

  • 8+ years of performance marketing experience

  • Experience working in an organization with a sales component to the conversion funnel where MQLs are a critical demand metric but ladder up to down funnel revenue generating events.

  • Experience managing multi million dollar paid media budgets

  • Exceptional analytical skills and structured thinking.

  • Ability to synthesize data to glean insights and drive optimization and go forward strategy.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills.

  • Ability to build relationships and ways of working that are efficient, productive and motivate people to achieve shared goals.

  • Strong team management skills.

  • Ability to guide and prioritize a team's work while encouraging and developing leadership skills and autonomy.

  • Experience managing to, reporting on, and having direct accountability for quantitative volume, quality, and conversion goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Pay Range

The US annual base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000 - $225,000 + benefits + 401(k) match + equity. The pay range is determined by the role, work location, job-related skills, level, experience and relevant education.
