Job Overview:

LPL Financial Technology team is looking for a dynamic leader who has led the Corporate Systems delivery function that includes HR, Intranet, Finance and Advisor loan products.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology organization as Head of Corporate Systems. As a leader you will be responsible for leading the Product and Development functions of key corporate systems within HR, Intranet, Finance and Advisor loan functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define a compelling vision and lead the product organization driving the transformation and maturity of this function delivering business results.

  • Collaborate effectively with HR, IT, Finance and other key stakeholders to identify/prioritize technology initiatives that will improve the effectiveness of the corporate functions while delivering on an exceptional employee experience through improved intranet engagement.

  • Strong technology leader driving innovation and delivery excellence.

  • Rationalize the tools to reduce the complexity while reducing costs.

  • Ensure the technology systems and process are secure and compliant.

  • Responsible for financial planning/allocation and staffing decisions with the focus on optimizing operational expense

  • Promote the vision and drive organizational transformation through establishing/maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including engineering, operations, and management.

  • Create best-in-class reports and publish presentations/communications promoting awareness of the function

  • Coach, mentor and lead a high performing team with direct and indirect responsibility to deliver on the objectives.

What does your success look like in the first 90 days?

Learn the LPL business functions, gather an understanding of the technology tools within the area of responsibility to establish a strategic vision. Meet with the executive leadership across technology and business to gain insights into the priorities (OKRs), opportunities to help drive value delivery. Meet with staff and help establish the roadmap for delivery.

Requirements:

  • 14+ years of experience in technology leadership roles supporting HR, Financial systems from a product and delivery perspectives.

  • 5+ years of Oracle EPM Finance system transformation experience.

  • 5+ years managing and leading Sharepoint, MS Teams team with proven track record on promoting collaboration and engagement.

  • 3+ years experience rationalizing the tools maximizing value with the ability to support scale

  • Enthusiastic change leader with the ability to create a strategy/plan on simplified experiences

  • Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to create/present executive presentations and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team.

  • Flexibility and organizational change management experience.

  • The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority.

  • Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within position scope and at the company.

  • Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges.

Core Competencies:

  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of HR, Finance technology platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience leveraging Sharepoint and O365 suite to create delightful experiences for employees.

  • Empathetic leader who is an active listener help create solutions reducing the non-productive time.

  • Forward looking leader who anticipates the future, inspires the team to deliver delightful experiences at scale and within established timelines/budget.

  • Ability to synthesize complex solutions into easily implementable solutions paving the way for incremental delivery.

  • Data driven leader who establishes OKRs, KPIs and inspires the delivery of customer centric solutions.

  • Excellent people leader who leads by example and has demonstrated experience building highly effective teams.

Pay Range:

$181,280-$271,920/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
