This role is based in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

Patreon is looking for a seasoned Development leader to partner directly with top of market creators to create best in class podcasts and other content offerings.

Patreon's core mission is to build for and advocate on behalf of creators. In that theme, creators have expressed ample interest in working with Patreon through the lens of content development. These are creators who fit Patreon's criteria for personalities who would find success with their own podcast or recurring media series, with some aspect of that content living exclusively on Patreon.

This position will partner very closely with our Head of Top Creator Acquisitions to identify, pitch and ultimately formalize development relationships with top creators, staying true to Patreon's proven creator criteria around what drives success on the platform. The position will also partner closely with our Head of Creator Marketing and Executive Creative Director to appropriately position and market the content we develop with creators. All of the above roles, including this position, report directly into the Chief Brand Officer.

About You

• 10+ years of experience in content development, with much of that in the podcasting space

• Experience helping pitch and close talent deals, executing on agreed upon deal terms through a collaborative creative process with top talent.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Expert knowledge of SEO

• Experience with a CMS

• Exceptional collaboration and organization skills

• Attention to detail

• Data driven
