eBay Motors is the original online marketplace for cars and trucks. We connect millions of buyers and sellers who are passionate about their vehicles. The eBay Vehicles team is looking for a Head of Consumer Experiences to oversee all aspects of vehicle buying and C2C selling on eBay Motors.
As Head of Consumer Experiences, you must have the unique combination of skills to drive a product vision for our consumer experiences while having revenue responsibility for our largest business line. You will have direct oversight of several teams including (1) onsite vehicles revenue, (2) product management for consumer experiences, (3) a strong mobile app development team. You must also work effectively with partners in dealer operations, marketing, technology, finance, and HR.
Onsite Revenue: Own the largest revenue line for eBay Vehicles, which includes vehicle listing fees and add-on feature purchases
Consumer Experiences: Define the product roadmap and deliver great experiences to our consumer buyers and sellers, while ensuring parity across desktop and mobile
Mobile Apps: Drive the vision for our eBay Motors native apps, and provide guidance to a strong app development team
Internal Collaboration: Coordinate your teams with other eBay.com teams, so we can launch product experiences in a seamless and timely manner
Planning & Reporting: Develop annual and quarterly plans with clear measurable objectives, and deliver regular reporting and executive updates
People Leadership: Manage a diverse and highly capable team spanning product, technology, operations, and marketing
Results Oriented: Highly driven towards measurable outcomes, including revenue targets. At least 5 years of experience owning a P&L or revenue targets is a strong plus
Customer Focused: Passion for creating great user experiences. At least 5 years of product and/or project management experience is a strong plus, as is experience with mobile apps
Collaborative: Expert in partnering with stakeholders across a large matrix organization
Extreme Ownership: Bias towards action and comfort working thru ambiguous challenges
Passion or experience within the automotive industry is a plus
People Management: At least 7 years of people management experience
Travel: Domestic travel may be up to 20%, plus 1-2 international trips per year
