Job Title: Head of Cognizant Interactive Toronto
Cognizant Interactive is seeking a dynamic leader to join our practice as Head of Cognizant Interactive - Toronto. As Cognizant Interactive grows its capabilities near shore, it will be important to build, manage and retain the maximum amount of talent, establish an operational structure that aligns with broader Cognizant processes while providing the flexibility to conduct business within Interactive and to build and scale the new capabilities. You will be responsible for helping Cognizant create operational process, GTM strategy, branding reconciliation, culture integration, employee engagement, scale capabilities and drive growth.
The ideal candidate will have both domain expertise in experience design, marketing, production, as well as operational experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build excitement and enthusiasm for the Cognizant Interactive vision and help employees envision a fulfilling path within the company through employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
Develop a strong partnership with senior executives and serve as the conduit to global Cognizant leadership for Toronto-based teams
Work closely with Cognizant Interactive's Global Practice Management Lead, legal, and corporate development to fully integrate acquired companies
Drive operational excellence from employee timesheets to revenue and pipeline tracking in order to deliver on business goals
Identify new capabilities and offerings to scale through Toronto
Minimum of Bachelor's degree, Master's Degree a plus
15+ year's progressive leadership experience in roles demonstrating creative and operational excellence; demonstrable success in defining and driving comprehensive programs to transform capabilities and delivering concrete business value.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in omni-channel experience development in emerging channels, including demonstrated ability to lead innovation
Background in either Advertising/Media Agency or Technology company preferred
Experience working in tech and creative industries
Experience in overseeing and leading large teams, including how to unite/optimize business and go-to-market strategies
Experience in designing effective brand strategies, understanding of the importance of cultural assimilation and employee engagement
Demonstrated ability to form strong relationships with business leaders, both from a people and finance perspective
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and complex projects and initiatives at one time
Experience hiring, inspiring, and leading teams
Ability to manage ambiguity and successfully navigate large organizations
Experience in client services and negotiating business decisions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi task, prioritize workloads and meet tight deadlines consistently
