Reporting to the SVP of Sales and Customer Success, and working with some of the country's most recognizable brands, this role is responsible for leading a team of tenured account executives to expand our products and services into new markets and expand channel partnerships. Experience in sales management is required, as well as strong coaching and mentoring skills and a passion to increase the company's growth and revenue. This position is vital to the overall company mission and offers a highly rewarding opportunity for a sales professional with proven B2B experience, consultative sales skills, and a desire to make a visible impact on a fast-growing team. This role may be based in our Richmond VA, Arlington VA, or Charleston SC office.
What We'll Expect:
Develop sales plans and tactics for achieving bookings and revenue goals inclusive of renewal strategies, upselling existing customers, and new logo acquisition
Ensure team meets or exceeds daily, weekly, monthly activity standards as defined in our sales process
Assist sales operations in developing account territory and lead assignments
Conduct regular team meetings to share team experiences, build motivation, and enhance selling skills
Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity and bookings forecast
Assist in the recruitment and selection of sales candidates who meet the company's hiring criteria
Conduct regular coaching sessions to build more effective communications, understand development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of team's sales performance
Demonstrate high level of professionalism and business acumen; build partnership through courtesy, clear communication, and sense of urgency
Demonstrate persistence, overcome obstacles, and strive to improve skills and achieve goals
Share knowledge and experiences with cross departmental stakeholders while driving strategies that contribute to the overall success of the team
Align all sales performance with mission, vision, and values
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university preferred; 8-10+ years of proven B2B sales experience required. Digital advertising sales experience preferred
Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
Experience managing a strategic sale, including selling unbudgeted solutions to multiple executives and decision-makers, creating value in a competitive environment and managing internal partnerships
Proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools required; Salesforce preferred
Outstanding relationship building experience and communication skills
Self-confident and resilient performer
Exceptionally strong organization and time management skills
A positive can-do attitude and self-starter
Highly professional demeanor with engaging personality; innovative problem solver who works independently, as well as part of a team
