UpLift operates at the intersection of travel, technology and digital lending. Founded by luminaries from the travel industry, UpLift is a well-financed Series B startup that provides point-of-sale financing for consumer travel. The consumer travel segment is a $1 Trillion global market that is underfinanced relative to other key consumer verticals.

The Head of Capital Markets is a high growth opportunity that will play an instrumental role in UpLifts development. This person will work closely with key leaders in the business and be a part of the team responsible for all aspects of capital markets, including sourcing, closing and managing our financing relationships.

  • Own management of all aspects of sourcing and management of debt facilities, bank financing and associated due diligence
  • Articulate UpLifts capital markets strategy for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess investor landscape and make strategic decisions to set UpLifts capital markets model and roadmap
  • Work cross-functionally with UpLift executives to optimize the capital markets strategy
  • Effectively build and manage a team in a rapidly scaling startup


  • 10+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or an analytical finance-related job
  • Direct experience digital / alternative lending businesses, either buy side or sell side.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in complex financial analysis
  • Ability to glean insights from data and make strategic recommendations
  • Attention to detail and a strong drive to get to the bottom of things
  • Ability to work on a cross-functional team
  • Passionate about Finance & FinTech

Marketing partners & developers are third party companies that help businesses succeed on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp and the Facebook Audience Network by building software solutions on our Marketing APIs. The Partner Business Marketing team creates marketing programs designed to educate & inspire these partners and drive adoption of their solutions with our advertisers & agencies. We are looking for an experienced marketer with global experience to lead this talented group. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the advertising industry and an ability to combine strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical rigor in order to execute on high-impact marketing and business programs. Not only will they have an understanding of the emerging trends in partner ecosystem, they will also possess a strong handle on the established and broader ecosystem including agencies and consulting firms and look to create synergies across marketing to different partner types. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in conceptualizing and building marketing programs from scratch, and developing new ways to support the developer and Partner journey from acquisition to sales enablement to derive value from their relationship with Facebook. This leader will also possess strong cross-functional skills, the ability to influence at executive levels of the organization and a proven track record in leading people and building teams by setting a vision and coaching people for success. This position is full-time and based in our Menlo Park office. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop global marketing strategies rooted in industry insights & business opportunities that grow the impact of Facebook's partner and developer ecosystem. Build synergistic strategies between Agency Marketing and Partner Marketing to create symbiotic go-to-market approaches. Drive the development of net new programs that unlock greater value and impact for Facebook partners. Execute programs which land key messages and drive partner and developer adoption of Facebook's marketing solutions. Evangelize partners internally and externally by creating/delivering presentations at industry conferences and representing the business in front of internal teams & strategic partners. Promote the value of Facebook and Instagram products to marketing partners & developers through digital media, channels and platforms, events, PR and co-marketing. Partner with the other leaders on the North America marketing team to align messaging, programs, & metrics across audiences. Build strong relationships within the Global Business Marketing team, the Global Marketing Solutions Leadership team and with a broad set of cross-functional partners across Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. Deliver concise and powerful analyses of marketing's impact on business goals. Build, lead and develop a high performing team.
