Job Duties:

Primary Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for providing leadership for the cross-functional management of information and technology across joint/new ventures, acquisitions and divestitures. This position will ensure all new business technology requirements are well defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a consistent manner and aligned with the overall Global ITS strategy. This role will play a critical role of developing emerging IT capabilities, until they are mature enough to function as independent teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Relationship management is critical for the success of this role. This role will be partnering with and influencing business leaders in corporate development, new businesses and the regional PMO

  • Quickly and effectively understands business strategies, challenges and priorities while collaborating with business and IT leaders to identify and plan initiatives to translate these into programs/projects with tactical goals and objectives that are measurable; ensures programs/projects are aligned with the overall Global ITS strategy

  • Driving focus and prioritization within new technologies through establishing strategic planning and governance principles and processes; setting an example through demonstrated leadership modeled from the Inspire, Connect, Achieve (ICA) leadership framework

  • Partner closely with Enterprise IT and ITS VP to run the Innovation Portfolio including budget, scope and research for projects

  • Stays current with developments in new market trends and innovations in technology.

  • Ensure business alignment of strategic plans and IT capability & services

  • Partners with IT leadership and corporate development to act as a trusted advisor on new or different technology requirements as a result of new ventures and merger and acquisition activities

  • Manage special projects including proof of concept and skunkworks projects

  • Review IT costs and cost structures for IT services and products in new businesses so that the financial implications of IT projects and activities are communicated to the proper IT and business executives.

Position Requirements:

  • This role will lead SAP integration multiyear global program. Strong SAP S4 experience desired.

  • Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college degree level education or work-related experience in a business facing IT leadership role. Degree preferred.

  • Job related experience for 10 year(s) minimum.

  • Experience in business IT, managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.

  • Expertise in budget planning, financial management and workforce management.

  • Makes decisions and recommendations clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals.

  • Deep understanding of business areas and technology that are being supported by the functional area.

  • Experience with strategic portfolio and project management.

  • Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype.

  • 25% of travel
