The Midlothian YMCA is seeking summer seasonal Head Lifeguards to ensure the safety of members at our outdoor pools this summer.

Head Lifeguards ensure the safety of members and program participants, in addition to assisting Aquatics Director with responsibilities such as opening shifts, creating schedules, pool maintenance, leading in-service trainings, and on-call duties.
Must have at least one year of lifeguarding experience and meet all YMCA of Greater Richmond Lifeguard Standards. Must hold current YMCA, American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification; to include CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration (O2) if YMCA certified.
If not YMCA certified, employee must obtain O2 within 30 days of hiring date. Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. Candidate will be required to work some weekends.
