Provide an environment where associates possess operational and scientific knowledge, skills and behaviours that are key to individual, team and business success, ultimately delivering on the Novartis vision to improve and extend the lives of our patients.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Builds the overall learning strategy master plan for GDD across all line functions through a deep knowledge and understanding of the strategy, priorities and challenges of the business. Communicates the learning strategy to senior leaders of GDD, and drives analytics to demonstrate business impact of learning.
Drives the execution of the learning strategy for GDD through 9 - 10 Capability Building Heads supporting the global line functions as well as the Learning Site Heads in Japan, China and Hyderabad.
Collaborates with other learning leaders across Novartis to share best practices in support of performance improvement in line with the overarching strategic goals of GDD. Guides and optimizes the scope of work that GDU conducts internally by evaluating other options that may exist elsewhere at Novartis, outside of GDU.
Proactively identifies opportunities for cross-functional learning solutions across all GDD line functions to capitalize on common themes to optimize spend and business impact.
Manages to the budget in a way that optimizes the financial resources GDU is given so as to have the greatest impact to GDD overall.
