Job Title Head High School Soccer Coach Department University School - 23300 Pay Grade Job Category Temporary Job Summary

University High School at ETSU is searching for a Soccer Head Coach. There are currently two openings for Head Coach: Girls Head Coach (fall season) and Boys Head Coach (spring season).

These opportunities may be filled by the same person or two different coaches, depending on the desire and experience of the candidates. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for all aspects of the high school soccer program(s). This includes not only individual and team skill development, but also character development and providing direction to student-athletes so that they might improve as players and develop an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork in soccer.

The successful candidate(s) must demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. Qualified candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills.

The coach(es) will be expected to attend all practices, games, and team events. The coach(es) will be expected to coordinate practice times, schedules, games, and transportation with athletics directors.

The coach(es) will also be expected to operate under all TSSAA, ETSU, and Washington County rules and regulations. Head coach(es) will report directly to Athletics Directors and school administration.
