Brief Description of the Organization

CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world.In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis.With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential.This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment.

Description of the Position

This role will lead Family Office Advisory in the Private Bank. The role will be primarily to work with the Private Bank constituency and stakeholder group in North America, but will include a role to scale and globalize that content throughout the wider CPB franchise.

  • Lead the Family Office Advisory Franchise at Citi Private Bank, with a particular emphasis on the North American Region where CPB has a market leading franchise.

  • Develop and build our strategy to curate the Family Office client community

  • Develop our content, research and events to maintain a market leading position as an advisory partner to Family Office clients

  • Work with Product partners to center our research and content around areas of core competence for Citi, creating 'touch points' for coverage and product partners to monetize our Advisory platform

  • Be a face for the Family Office segment both internally and externally

  • Recognized by the Banker community as a subject matter expert that has instant credibility with the client community.

  • Work closely with the Chairman of Family Office to build the skill set of the wider client facing team that engages with this segment

Key Responsibilities:

Covering a key and fast growing segment the stakeholder group for the role will be wide and diverse. An ability to drive a strong, collegiate partnership between the businesses, product partners and the Family Office Advisory Group will be essential.

In particular the following will be important:

  • Immediately identifiable as a credible subject matter expert in the Family Office field.

  • Working in close partnership with the existing Regional Management team, GMMs, IC heads, Solutions Sales, Capital Markets desks, Investment Finance, Banking, Custody, Trust and other Product partners. Success driven by being a trusted partner that brings success for the whole NAM team.

  • Setting out a clear vision and business plan for bringing together our Family Office strategy, especially around content, events, research and build the knowledge base amongst the wider coverage teams.

  • Setting out a clear business development plan, using a client engagement strategy to increase frequency of client engagement, quality of client engagement and opportunities to attract new clients to the firm

  • Support banker teams and product partners as a client facing resource and subject matter expert.

  • Credibility with and a strong network within the Family Office client community will be essential from day one.

  • Close coordination and a seem-less partnership with the Private Capital

  • Institutional Solutions Head for NAM.
  • Close coordination with the rest of the Institutional Clients Group, representing CPB with this crucial stakeholder group.

  • Maintaining and growing a disciplined client data universe with regular strategic reviews with key business partners.

  • Inspire with wider coverage team by sharing success and best practice, leading by influence and example.

  • Measuring success supporting bankers with

New Client Acquisition, increasing client engagement frequency and building the focused data set of client connections and prospects in the Family Office community.

  • Working with the Lab for Family Office to build engagement strategies that help coverage and product teams to build enhanced connectivity with the client community.

The Family Office Solutions platform houses client data from various custodial platforms, which feed client account activity into a vendor platform used for completing performance measurement analytics and accounting reports. This role is responsible for product fulfillment and day-to-day service administration for one or more solutions developed to serve the Ultra High Net Worth / Family Office market. The Specialist will be a dedicated resource to clients and will guide them through the on-boarding process, and work with the clients and their advisors to support ongoing needs. The Specialist also supports prospecting efforts and communicates frequently with clients and members of the client's advisory team, including client advisors, client managers, portfolio managers, trust officers, estate planners, office managers, executive assistants and CFOs. Responsibilities: The Family Office Solutions Specialist is a qualified subject matter expert for Performance Measurement and reporting. The Specialist will conduct proactive quality assurance, problem resolution and provide ongoing assistance to clients and their advisors with respect to performance analytics and accounting reports. Reporting support includes the production and review of cyclical and ad-hoc performance and accounting reports. Performance processes will be monitored and verified as appropriate with prompt resolution for all exception items. Frequent contact with clients and key stakeholders is required to research and to resolve performance data issues that are encountered. The Specialist is viewed as a leader and possesses intimate knowledge of team functions and the broader organization. As a subject matter expert, they handle elevated items and ad hoc issues while delivering superior customer service, promotes best practices across the group, and helps implement efficiency ideas and project enhancements. Additional responsibilities include facilitating as needed web-ex/in-person meetings on platform capabilities, serving as liaison between team and business/technology partners and other teams, participation in pilots/lead testing initiatives for projects, communication of performance/tool enhancements/known issues/best practices/etc. to team, quality checking the work performed by team & outside vendors, oversight of issue tracking and/or resolution, and preparing and updating policies and procedures and actively leading / participating in Annual Procedure Reviews and Audits.
