JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Head Coach will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and execution of the Orangetheory Fitness product in their designated studio through coach training, camaraderie, and continued coach education. The Head Coach will provide fitness leadership and fitness training to their studio, working directly with their coaches to reinforce fitness excellence, coach performance and member retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly manage and monitor coach performance and proper fitness template education.

• Identify optimal class schedules and make adjustments as necessary. Final approvals will be required by Regional Fitness Manager

• Be an active part of the sales & intro process

• Use OTF/Thrive tools and reports daily (CTA Cards, Studio Portal, MBO, etc).

• Tackle all member/guest care calls within the expected call cadence.

• Actively support Regional Fitness Manager in recruiting strong CPT candidates

• Train and mentor subordinates for ongoing success & future growth

• Develop a high energy culture of OTF

• Responsible for routine coach evaluations. Feedback provided on approved scorecard to Coach and leadership team. Evaluations uploaded to OU and Thrive employee profile with 48 hours of evaluation.

• Identify, advise, and correct on training/fitness issues and conduct needs assessments to determine specific training needs.

• Audits and approves all payroll prior to submission to General Manager.

• Stay current on all Orange University and fitness curriculum

• Ensure Thrive coaches are staying up to date with all training modules in OU.

• Audit coach certifications and check for CPT, AED, CPR renewals to ensure compliance

• Attend all OTF Fitness webinars listed in the weekly bulletin

• Ensure schedule changes are processed correctly

• Address any fitness related member concerns in a timely manner with a solution focused mindset.

• Troubleshoot equipment technology as necessary

• Conduct roll-out & leadership meetings with all Coaches

• Approve Coach time away

• Monitors Listen360 and takes action on important fitness feedback

• Ensure coaches within your studio are recognized for coach milestones

• Enforce OTF and Thrive corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes

• Additional responsibilities as needed for the success of the role and team

Compensation: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour
