As a member on our team you will
Lead the culinary team as a hands on member overseeing the planning, purchasing and meal preparation for the family ensuring an efficient and exquisite food service to the owners, family and guests - by:
Seeking and establishing a strong culinary knowledge and understanding of owner's and guest's preferences, including special recipes and dietary requirements
Menu planning and shopping for meals
Providing a strong sense of kitchen organization, sanitation and cleanliness
Developing the culinary team; creating the schedule and overseeing the hiring
Traveling domestically and internationally to various estates to support owner trips/movement (Travel estimated at 10%)
Having the flexibility to work night, weekends and holidays and travel on short notice
Being able to work Tuesday Saturday on a regular basis
You will bring this experience and skillsets
An Associate's degree (A.A.) in Culinary Arts and/or certification from a culinary institution and 6+ years' experience working as a Chef in a private home or high end restaurant + experience in a leadership role
Experience cooking across many different cuisines
Creativity, organization and flexibility
Having good interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively respond to requests and questions from managers, supervisors and co-workers.
