We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Health Care Technician I/Ward Clerk for the 3 Oak/Medical unit. This position typically works Monday - Friday 8am-5pm however, may be assigned to other shifts as needed to meet the needs of the unit. Some of the duties of this position include but are not limited to: 1) administrative/ clerical tasks, 2) assist the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to ensure sufficient documents are available, and also with accurate unit record keeping, 3) communication across disciplines and hospital departments via phone, email, and writing, 4) ensure patient safety, 5) direct patient care, 6) purposeful therapeutic communication with patients, and 6) assist the CNM to follow up with staff for compliance with required Cherry Hospital training.
Salary Grade GN 04 Recruitment Range $31,200-$40,450
