This position serves as the tier one technical point of contact and assists users and subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, basic report writing, basic issue troubleshooting, and system access requests.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews all HCMS related tickets in Service Now and resolves tier one issues.
Works with HCM Systems Analysts to route tier 2 issues to the appropriate resource.
Provide technical support to end users for tier one issues like password resets, access requests, and supervisory organization changes.
Communicates, educates and enforces business process rules and policies as needed.
Perform analysis into root cause of problems and resolve as appropriate.
Communicates, educates and enforces business process rules and policies as needed. Assists HCM Systems Analysts in documenting requirements and configuration changes.
Develops basic Workday reports focused on core data requests. Document and track requests and product defects, manage issues resolution and coordinate problem resolution with the appropriate HCM Systems Analyst.
Runs regular data audit reports and shares output with appropriate HCM Systems Analyst, HR Director, or HR/Payroll functional area for completion.
Support the development and planning of new HR systems and/or enhancements. Assists in development of documentation, updating current documentation.
Under direction from HCM Systems Analyst, assists in development of test scripts for system changes or implementations.
Under direction from HCM Systems Analyst and/or Sr. Director, participates on small to medium size projects to perform project duties as assigned such as documentation of system requirements, design documents, and training documentation.
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision, and visual monotony.
Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Two + years' exposure to Human Resources functions. Proficient with Microsoft Office. Must demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations, and an ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Requires effective organization and time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and work independently.
