Job Description:

The HR Technology Workday HCM Functional Analyst will have the privilege of handling the Workday core configuration at Otis. You will be responsible for the overall requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and implementation of all needs related to the Workday core HCM configuration. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with your customers and partners and other Workday Functional resources.

The ideal candidate should have extensive configuration experience in Workday and be willing to lead a best in class solution to all Otis employees.

Core Competencies/Experiences:

  • Conduct working sessions with HR/COE functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements

  • Plan, execute, and monitor Workday projects across Otis with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production

  • Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions related to Workday

  • Facilitate end-to-end process reviews and recommend process changes or enhancements to support day to day activities

  • Work closely with Center of Excellence, shared services, employees and managers to ensure learning solution meets the requirements

  • Support the prioritization of change requests for Workday

  • Prepare periodic communications to stakeholders and work documents

  • Identify and implement corrective actions quickly and independently in order to accomplish objectives

  • Identify improvement opportunities for the organization and be an advocate for change.

  • Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements

  • Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams

  • Lead coordination for the training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members

Education:

  • 4 year College Degree and/or 3+ years of experience meeting above competencies | 2+ year deploying global Workday configuration, 2+ years in a lead role, management role or in a role coaching others

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment

  • Experienced in configuring Workday Business Processes

  • Extensive Functional Workday experience with HCM applications

  • Strong hands-on experience with the following Workday modules: HCM, Learning, Talent and Performance and Business Process workflow

  • Experienced with HR Process

  • Basic knowledge of AGILE and Project Management methodologies and practices

  • Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands

  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others

  • Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams and WD CSM/Account Executives

  • General passion in finding creative solution using the Workday application

  • Strong presence in Workday Community

This role is responsible for managing and executing global DE&I projects and initiatives for Otis. Location: CT or FL based candidate preferred, remote available Essential Responsibilities * Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, ensure tasks owners are allocated, timelines success criteria are met (projects are inclusive of all the aspects of D&I ranging from research in the field to site development, event planning, DE&I training design and implementation, special programs, internal audits/assessment, heritage celebrations, etc.) * Partner and coordinate action with critical functions such as talent acquisition and development, HR practitioners, external organizations to advance representation and inclusion in the organization. Secure buy-in and support from different stakeholders across the business in the different regions. * Perform data analysis - gathering input from multiple sources and generating insights through information and analytics to guide actions; establish processes to monitor progress through measurable goals and produce presentations in partnership with HR Reporting & Analytics. * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, produce reports on demand with attention to details. * Develop communication and gather information to create the narrative of DE&I and success stories for internal and external distribution, including internal and external websites, articles, social media postings, newsletters, DE&I annual report. * Coordinate communications with all areas of the organization that impact project scope and initiatives, create activation toolkits. * Complete external surveys requesting inputs from different sources, ensuring data integrity and reliability * Create communications and update content periodically into share folders, internal websites, and external sites, and collaborate with Internal & External Corporate Communications teams to post on social media and internally. * Coordinate and create global teams and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and with expected results * Partner by influence with different stakeholders across the business in the different regions (e.g., collaborate with Legal and HR to establish guidelines and policies for various DE&I topics as needed). * Responsible for vendor management of external diversity partnerships including the development of a partner engagement strategy, selection of partnership or sponsorship level, coordination of regular meetings, contract renewals, research requests, identifying new partners and finding opportunities for Otis to share best practices with their clients (where appropriate) * Manage Employee Resource Groups (ERG) governance globally, design process, and deploy the tools necessary to implement initiatives and gather inputs. Create a communication cadence with them and collect real-time information and produce reports and presentations. * Research and partner with HR and the business across the company to establish effective local strategies and programs to develop talent and improve representation. * Organizes meetings across different locations - including different time zones and manage action items. * Maintain MS Teams sites for collaboration with regular updates * Manage ad- hoc tactical request of administrative nature ranging from setting up meetings to taking meeting minutes and the distribution of action items for follow up, pulling reports, and creating presentations as needed. Education and Experience * A bachelor's degree in business, human resources management or applicable discipline with 7 or more years of relevant work experience * An advanced degree and 5 or more years of relevant work experience is required * Previous experience with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Talent Management or HR Business Partner roles are a plus Qualifications * Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, reporting abilities and detail orientation * Advanced Microsoft Suite competence * Creative problem-solving skills, understanding of corporate dynamics, and demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment * Excellent communication and organization skills; the ability to successfully navigate within a complex business landscape.
