The HR Technology Workday HCM Functional Analyst will have the privilege of handling the Workday core configuration at Otis. You will be responsible for the overall requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and implementation of all needs related to the Workday core HCM configuration. You will develop and maintain effective relationships with your customers and partners and other Workday Functional resources.
The ideal candidate should have extensive configuration experience in Workday and be willing to lead a best in class solution to all Otis employees.
Conduct working sessions with HR/COE functions to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements
Plan, execute, and monitor Workday projects across Otis with an eye on supportability and successful operational transition into production
Provide subject matter expertise on key business process decisions related to Workday
Facilitate end-to-end process reviews and recommend process changes or enhancements to support day to day activities
Work closely with Center of Excellence, shared services, employees and managers to ensure learning solution meets the requirements
Support the prioritization of change requests for Workday
Prepare periodic communications to stakeholders and work documents
Identify and implement corrective actions quickly and independently in order to accomplish objectives
Identify improvement opportunities for the organization and be an advocate for change.
Understand Workday's Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements
Work in an agile environment with global implementation and operations teams
Lead coordination for the training and other events that help share knowledge and skills with other team members
Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment
Experienced in configuring Workday Business Processes
Extensive Functional Workday experience with HCM applications
Strong hands-on experience with the following Workday modules: HCM, Learning, Talent and Performance and Business Process workflow
Experienced with HR Process
Basic knowledge of AGILE and Project Management methodologies and practices
Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others
Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can clearly articulate complex messages and requirements to stakeholders, functional COE teams and WD CSM/Account Executives
General passion in finding creative solution using the Workday application
Strong presence in Workday Community
