HBO Technician - Part Time

• 16 hours per week

MAIN FUNCTION:

• Schedules the distribution of and work assignments for shift personnel. Oversees daily operations of the department inclusive of quality improvement issues. Evaluates performance and competency of HBO staff.

• Responsible for establishing and implementing departmental policies and procedures. Demonstrates clear understanding of hospital and departmental objectives and goals. Maintains accurate up-to-date records of all procedures, statistics and treatment progress.

• Responsible for instrumentation performance and product use.

• Assists Director with interviewing, selecting, orienting and training of departmental staff. Responsible for the training/education needs of the department.

• Maintains responsibility for attendance/reliability to ensure that the Hospital is operated in an efficient and cost effective manner.

• Contributes to the mission of the Organization by supporting the Employee Philosophy, Planetree Model of Care, and organizational goals.

EDUCATION:

• LICENSED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, REGISTERED NURSE, LPN, OR PARAMEDIC. CHT CREDENTIAL PREFERRED

EXPERIENCE:

• One-year clinical experience working in hyperbaric medicine/wound care
