Day in the Life
After receiving your instructions from dispatch the night before, you clock in and:
Gear up in your provided coveralls
Check in with your team regarding the day's duties
Gather the equipment you'll need for the day
Check in and review the day's Safety Plan
Lead your crew by providing instructions and guidance
Work with industrial power washers (40,000 psi) to clean tanks/tankers and trailers
Sweep, clean and/or shovel materials
Operate a forklift, aerial lift or other machinery as needed
Ensure the work area is safe at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
On call for ER responses
What you need to apply
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Basic computer skills
Prior leadership experience
2+ years of Emergency Response/Hazmat experience preferred
Required to wear a respirator as needed
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and weekends
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Good driving record with less than 3 violations in the last 3 years
