Hazing, Harassment, & Bullying (Hhb) Coordinator

Milton Town School District anticipates seeking an MS/MES HHB Coordinator to develop, create, and promote values and principles that support the social-emotional learning of students, staff, and the community, thereby creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries out duties and responsibilities related to Hazing, Harassment, and Bullying.
Abide by the MTSD policy and procedures for the Prevention of Hazing, Harassment, and Bullying.
Provide staff training in preventing, recognizing, and responding to hazing, harassment, and bullying allegations.
Develop age-appropriate methods for discussing the policy and procedures to help prevent hazing, harassment, and bullying.
Work with teachers and school counselors to educate student groups in small-group settings, classrooms, or school-wide.
Receive reports of inappropriate student conduct that may violate the MTSD Prevention of Hazing, Harassment, and Bullying Policy.
Take action as directed in accordance with the Prevention of Hazing, Harassment, and Bullying Policy and Procedures.
Work collaboratively with school administrators and counselors from receipt of potential policy violations throughout the investigation process and maintain communication with all necessary stakeholders.
Communicate interim measures with behavior interventionists/specialists, teachers, staff members, and parents.
Maintain detailed notes, documentation, reports, and confidentiality pursuant to FERPA.
Enter data as required for State reporting.
Carries out other duties as assigned by School Principals.
