Haul Truck Driver

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Haul Truck in addition to other duties at the West Millgrove Sand & Gravel operation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating a 30 ton Haul Truck to haul stone to production plant

• Performing general maintenance on plant (greasing, cleaning, filling out inspection reports, etc.)

• Working with other employees to perform general maintenance, repairs, and other work where needed

• Operating other types of equipment on the property

• Working safely while following safety rules and MSHA regulations

• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Mechanical experience helpful

• Appropriate communication skills

• Customer service skills necessary to effectively interact with customers, employees, and other guests at the property

• Willingness to learn, having a positive attitude, dependable, and being a team player highly desired

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Working Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to work extended hours (including Saturday) during the busy season
