The Harvest Evaluation Supervisor is responsible for all field fruit evaluation functions. Supervise harvest for quality and quantity in a timely manner. Supervise and maintain harvest evaluations. Supervise seasonal harvest evaluators and provide support as needed. Analyze all crop, production, and finished goods data collected throughout the year.

Job Description

What our Harvest Evaluation Supervisor will do:

• Maintain a valid Driver's License in good standing in order to operate a company vehicle.

• Uphold positive working relationships with the farming group in order to have a regular flow of product to production facility.

• Select, supervise, and train full-time and seasonal harvest evaluators to assist in seasonal workload.

• Maintain and supervise field operations to ensure continuous and safe operations.

• Establish safety program for the Fruit Evaluation Department to meet POM Wonderful accident reduction objectives.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate food safety regulatory standards.

• Review and enforce company quality standards provided by facility, regional, and corporate quality authorities.

• Maintain data collection and reporting functions for all Fruit Evaluation activities.

Qualifications

Skills & experience that are necessary as our Harvest Evaluation Supervisor will include, but not limited to:

• Familiarity with state specific food safety laws.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and assistance to all levels of employees.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

• Ability to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.

• Ability to perform analysis and communicate results effectively.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software.

Education & Experience:

At least 3-5 years of progressively responsible Field Fruit Evaluation experience in a supervisory capacity, with a specific emphasis on agriculture preferably within a production/manufacturing setting.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $80,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
