The Arts and Cultural Heritage Division, of the M-NCPPC Prince George's County Parks and Recreation Department, Harmony Hall Arts Center is seeking two (2) part-time, year-round Ballet Instructor positions offering 2-4 hours per week of instruction. Pre-Ballet/ Children's Beginning Ballet

Pre-Ballet Instructor:

A pre-ballet instructor is responsible for teaching young children the fundamentals of ballet in a fun and engaging way. The ideal candidate should have experience in ballet and teaching and a passion for working with young children.

The job duties include creating lesson plans, leading classes, demonstrating proper techniques, providing feedback, and ensuring the safety of all students. Excellent communication skills, patience, and creativity are essential qualities for this role. A certification in early childhood education is preferred but not required.

Beginning Ballet-Children:

The ideal candidate for this position should have a background in ballet and teaching with a strong passion for working with children.

They will be responsible for developing, implementing lesson plans, leading classes, demonstrating proper techniques, providing feedback, and ensuring the safety of all students.
