Are you ready for your

next mission? Our Defense & Intelligence Group is recruiting for

a Hardware Technician who will be part of a winning team to support the G2

Army MI Enterprise which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations,

logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and

uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT

Systems.

This position will be based

at the Pentagon.

PRIMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware and network

issues including video cards, desktop/laptop issues, cabling and physical

layer networking issues, and printer troubleshooting and/or maintenance.

Image, maintain and troubleshoot desktop and laptop

systems (Windows 7 and Windows 10)

Diagnose and resolve problems, printers, digital

senders, and other standard office equipment.

Complete basic hardware work as directed, such as cable

management, desktop PC installation, monitors, KVM's, and laptop imaging

and issuance.

Manage and provision wireless / handheld devices.

Provide Tier II/III service support to customers in

person and over the phone with minimal to no direct oversight.

Provide input and update to standard operating

procedures.

Understand how to apply patches, updates, and STIGs to

systems.

Conduct validation of ticket information to ensure

completeness and accuracy and escalate issues via ticketing system and

requests for assistance as needed.

Take part in organizations change management process.

Participate in or lead special projects and day?to?day operations as needed or

assigned by the Site Lead.

Interact daily with supervisor, peers, and customers.

Provide polite and friendly customer service.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience.

Additional training, certification and/or years of relevant experience may

be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Possess strong troubleshooting skills.

Experience with BMC Remedy IT Service Management

software.

Currently possess DoD IAT at Level II certification,

Security+CE and Computing Environment.

Active TS/SCI security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Comprehensive knowledge of IT service desk requirements

with the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments and ability

to provide over the phone troubleshooting.

Experience working with demanding, high ranking

customers and staff.

Experience with WhatsUp Gold network monitoring

software

Primary Responsibilities * Analyze, simulate, design, layout and unit test electronics boards for digital and analog circuitry in systems requiring custom signal processing, amplification, power management and conversion. * Evaluate, select, specify, design, modify, test, and/or integrate sensors, electronic modules (custom and COTS), cables, connectors, power subsystems * Develop and maintain requirements documents, functional specification documents, and interface control documents. * Generate and maintain engineering drawings and configuration management policies. * Develop project test plans and test procedures, provide test planning support, and assist in the execution of both lab testing and field testing. * Provide field support planning, mobilization/de-mobilization support, and other field support in general. * Conduct experimental tests on equipment, evaluate results, and then develop specifications for selecting components and equipment for deliverable systems. * Work on problems of diverse scope, determining methods and procedures to be used on new assignments, and providing feedback and recommendations to other technical personnel. * Interact with outside customers, suppliers, and functional peer groups. * Some travel and work at remote sites for limited time periods will be required. * Provide status reports to project managers and/or division production manager as required.
