Summary: As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hardware components in close collaboration with software and solution engineers. Performs research, design, analysis, configuration, and testing of custom components through full-stack computer-based systems/solutions which may include elements of compute, storage, networking, IOT, 5G/6G, immersion-based cooling. Supports internal and external customers by performing outlined duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
Designing and building hardware
Recommending new hardware designs
Performing tests of new hardware in combination with software
Troubleshooting and debugging performance issues
Works with vendors and hardware suppliers to implement new designs
Supports the hardware engineering team
Provides technical support for hardware issues
Follows industry-standard processes and procedures
Collaborates with other engineers
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, or with relevant experience; Master's degree will be a plus
2+ years of industry experience in hardware development, application development and/or micro-services
Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team orientated environment
Experience successfully leading the execution of technical engagements including building Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
Demonstrated success in re-engineering applications, hardware and/or delivery services.
Experience with cybersecurity concepts, product requirements and key deliverables.
Proven success in developing products/solutions for use with advanced 1PIC and 2PIC immersion-based cooling offerings.
Pay range: $90k-$115k
