Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Hardware Install Technician, in the Alexandria, VA area with strong Customer relationships. The IMS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to a wide array of customers as part of a complex team of multiple contractors and government personnel.

  • Must be a team player and able to work in a fast paced rapidly changing environment.

  • Perform full life-cycle management of hardware.

  • Deploy and decommission equipment as required.

  • Perform site surveys to assess and document current site network configuration and user requirements.

  • Analyze and develop new hardware requirements and prepare specifications for hardware acquisitions.

  • Direct and lead preparation of deployment plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.

  • Develop hardware installation schedules.

  • Mobilize installation team.

  • Direct and lead preparation of drawings documenting configuration changes at each site.

  • Prepare site installation and test reports.

  • Coordinate post installation operations and maintenance support.

Position requirements:

  • Experience with KG-175, CISCO routing and switching equipment, CISCO VoIP, CISCO VTC, networked printers, Windows OS, and PC hardware needed.

  • One to two years of relevant IT Systems Adm experience

  • Required Certifications: IAT-I Security+CE; A+ or Net+

  • ITIL Foundations desired

Security Requirements:

Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to pass poly


Equivalent Experience to Bachelors Degree


Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure, Ability to use MS Office, Ability to use PC, Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills, Interpersonal and People Skills, Listening Skills ,Multi-tasking Ability, Oral and Written Communication Skills, Organizational Skills

Do you have what it takes to be a Technician for the 2nd largest commercial service repair company in the country? The Commercial Install Technician is responsible for driving a company vehicle to and from customer sites to load, transport, and install commercial kitchen equipment. The Technician will also provide excellent customer service and must be dependable and able to work independently or with little supervision. This position will cover the Alexandria, VA/Washington, DC areas. Duties: * Loads, transports, and installs commercial kitchen equipment into restaurants. * Inspects the commercial kitchen equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation. * Communicates with customer and branch office regarding status of installs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers. * Completes service tickets according to procedures. * Performs manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices. * Tracks truck stock to insure needed parts are stocked on vehicle. * Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech-24 standards. * Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate. * Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety. Requirements: * High school graduate/GED or the equivalent. * EPA/CFC certified. * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. * Superb customer service skills. * Experience of electrical and control circuit knowledge. * Dependable and able to work independently. * Standard computer skills. * Must own industry's standard hand tools. * Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters. * Able to perform on call duty in rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size). * Mechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches. * CFESA certified is a plus.
