Key Responsibilities / Functions:

Installing Lab Development PC/Servers.

Maintaining/Upgrading PC Hardware

Provide support to HW/SW Engineers in troubleshooting PC Issues.

Troubleshooting Windows/Linux Operating Systems issues

Patch Engineering assets.

Standardize/Maintain HW/SW OS Images.

Maintain HW/SW QA/Test Tools.

Manage Inventory of Lab Equipment.

Assist with hardware engineering tools

Required Qualifications:

Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Linux Operating Systems.

Proven knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PC SW/HW Issues.

Excellent personal, organizational skills

Self-starter, Team Player.

Experience working in a dynamic hardware development environment

Experience with hardware development tool sets

Strong verbal and written communication skills
2+ years of Lab support experience

The candidate will work closely with Program Management, Product Management, Quality, and Engineering leads to enable and guide systems efforts throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities: * Establish, champion and continuously improve a vision, framework, and process for Systems Engineering in support of new product development for hardware/software products * Manage and develop a team of Systems Engineers across multiple development programs and sites * Coordinate Systems Engineering and Design for Six Sigma training and development * Identify, scope, and manage Systems Engineering engagements * Drive cross-functional collaboration through an integrated systems engineering/product development process Required Knowledge and Skills: * Experienced in leading hardware/software development efforts using a formal product development process and V-model * Experienced in system requirements analysis, allocation, modeling, design, integration, and V&V * Ability to tailor Systems Engineering frameworks to product development engagements * Experienced with data analysis, statistical methods, JMP, MatLab, R, Python or equivalent. * Effective verbal and written communication skills to cascade information, influence decisions, and align team members and project leaders Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline * 5+ years' experience in engineering, quality, or reliability roles in product development * 3+ years' experience as a team lead, project engineer, or people manager Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline * Experience with robotics and industrial automation * Experience with systems approach to software design and development * Experience with the healthcare industry and medication management Work Conditions: * Office environment * Up to 25% travel may be required to customer sites and corporate locations Omnicell Mountain View CA
