Candidate will be responsible for design, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and all documentation required for the ground systems as assigned. Position is in Boulder Colorado. Work week is Flex 4/10A. Evenings and weekends may be required occasionally based on program schedule (installation) or customer outages (troubleshooting). Position is part of a HW team nested in a larger engineering team.
Responsibilities include:
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise.
Assist in integrating new compute, storage, and network hardware into an existing system.
Makes recommendations to purchase compute, storage, and network hardware and software.

Basic Qualifications:
Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment.
Experience with hardware rack & stack
Experience with fiber/cable runs
Experience reading/interpreting engineering drawings
Good problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skills:
Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance
Experience working on an Agile Development Team
Demonstrated experience using cross domain services
General understanding of IP networks, switching, subnets and VLANs.
Understanding of networking concepts including VPN, DNS, masking, NAT, Cisco Switches, firewalls, and gateways.
Understanding of network engineering concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP.
General understanding of hardware to include Servers, Blade Chassis, Fiber Channels, SANS.
Knowledge of system security concerns and vulnerabilities.
