Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a Hardware Engineer for a full time, direct hire position with our client- this role is onsite in Lynchburg, VA. Candidates must be eligible to secure a U.S. security clearance. Please email resume to brenda.goldenmitchell@akkodis.com

Profile:

• Exhibit proficiency in broad analytical, design, and development assignments related to product development.

• Develop basic electrical designs to realize analog and digital requirements.

• Develop hardware design solutions including analog and digital circuit design for low power communication, real time embedded microprocessor-based board level design, firmware applications.

• Develop schematics, BOMs, layout, and libraries for printed circuit boards using our CAD system.

• Participate in the building and testing of circuit boards, electrical and mechanical systems, and components.

• Must be familiar with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, meters, and other test equipment commonly used to test and troubleshoot circuits and systems.

• Oversee engineering life cycle of hardware products including architecture, design, and implementation.

• Confer with product marketing on writing of functional specifications.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required

Pay Details: $115,000.00 per year
